Trying to install the latest 8.4 release onto a Dell R640. With CENTOS the NIC is detected and populated without issue but the Rocky installer doesn’t see it.
What does lspci -nn show for that device?
Was the CentOS 8 installed on it without problems or workarounds?

It was. And I discovered that between installs (the server had moved) the NIC had become unseated. So just a simple hardware issue.
