Hi, I selected Chinese input method in the keyboard settings, yet actually there be no Chinese characters puttting out, it is a fake operation. Maybe it needs some other extra setting or download some other thing to actually make the input method work, for now even in selected Chinese input method only prints out English alphabets. If you can help me, please provide your solutions. Thank you.
My experience is in Japanese, not Chinese, but we need a little more information. Is this Rocky 9.x? If so, I’d guess you’re using ibus. I have a page on Japanese input that might work for Chinese as well. Although it mostly mentions RHEL8, it should be the same for Rocky9.
