Are you excluding packages in your dnf/repo configuration? Are you selectively running updates rather than just running dnf update? If at all possible, please provide rpaste --sysinfo.

Dear nazunalika As per my understandig below two package are missing in appstream which are causing update the issue. libstdc+±devel-8.5.0-4.el8.x86_64 and gcc-8.5.0-4.el8.x86_64 Their available version are gcc-8.5.0-3.el8.x86_64 and libstdc+±devel-8.5.0-3.el8.x86_64

Further more i tested AlmaLinux and did not observe this error. Then tried to compare it with AlmaLinux [image] and [image] Alama is not providing libstdc+±8.5.0-4.el8.x86_64 and libgomp-8.5.0-4.el8.x86_64 whose update is causing the issue.

Similar as here, I think package name is problem here: Rocky Linux 8.4 to Rocky Linux 8.5 update issues - #4 by iwalker it should be el8 and not el8_5.
