Strange virus notification pop-up

Hi,

I recently installed Rocky Linux 9 with KDE to a teacher friend. She just sent me this “screenshot”. A KDE popup window says something like “18 viruses discovered” and “click here to install antivirus”.

I’ve never seen anything like this, frankly. Some malicious website that activated a fake notification?

These appears to be notifications originating from the web browser, that show up in KDE notifications. I suggest you install an ad blocker. (I’d go farther and disable notifications in the browser).
