In our local school we’re running Rocky Linux 8 with KDE from EPEL on all our desktop clients.
One of the clients is behaving weirdly. When I insert a USB flash drive, it shows up OK in lsblk as /dev/sdb. But the corresponding notification does not show up in KDE, so a “mere mortal” user cannot access it.
Any idea what may be wrong here? Some package missing under the hood?
