Rocky Linux at SCALE in SoCal - March 9-12, 2023

Hi RockyLinux Friends,

SCALE is back in Southern California on March 9-12, 2023.
This will be our 20th year running the event and we hope you can join us.

We are a community and volunteer run Linux, FOSS and DevOps event held each year in the Los Angeles area.
This year we have keynotes by Ken Thompson (creator of Unix and Go), Arun Gupta (Intel and CNCF), and Kitty Yeung (Physicist and Artist).

We over a hundreds sessions on everything from open data to free culture, systems engineering, DevOps, databases and more. Whether you’re using open source at work or at home on the desktop we have something for you. As well as a few talks about RockyLinux including one by Heather Meeker about Rocky’s approach to community and project stewardship.

Along side SCALE, you can also pop into DevOpsDay LA or join the Kubernetes community who are running run KCD LA.

Rocky community members can get 50% off registration with the promo code ROCKY.

We hope to see you in Pasadena.

Cheers,
Ilan

Greetings Ilan!
It’s good to cross paths with you again!

I personally can’t make it to SCALE this year, but any hope for a Texas Linux Fest again? I miss TXLF. :grinning:

Good to run into you as well. I hope TXLF will return soon. We’re struggling with venues in Austin, but slowly making progress on a return. Hopefully late 2023 or early 2024.

Sounds like a ton of fun. Unfortunately I am in Ohio and on the No Fly List, so I won’t be able to make it.
