Rocky linux 9 on 2017 intel MacBook Pro

I want to run Rocky 9 from a SSD drive on my MacBook Pro (2017 intel).
Im using Rocky-9.3-x86_64-boot.iso
I boot into the drive and select Install Rocky Linux. I only get as far as the select the language page from the Rocky Installer because my laptop keyboard or tackpad don’t work

Any Advice?

Anyone?
Would love to try Rocky

I have a macbook pro 2014 model and the installer came up. My keyboard worked fine. I can’t test my trackpad since it’s damaged, but an external mouse works. Are you able to plugin an external keyboard and mouse? If so, that could help start to troubleshoot why peripherals aren’t working.
