I have this very strange behavior, that my login password prompt resets during typing a couple of letters in. I can’t make out any pattern to this, apart from it only happening once each prompt. Afterwards I can type the password and login as usual. If I enter and failed to type it correctly (often because of the first few character missing), it happens again for the new prompt. I’m also fairly certain that this is not a keyboard issue, as the same setup works fine for other distros.
I really don’t know where to start diagnosing this, but am happy to supply any logs/package version etc. if someone points me in any direction.
