I’m running Rocky Linux 8 with KDE from EPEL. Okular doesn’t seem to manage .epub files, which is a shame. Is there a way to make it behave? Install some obscure plugin?

I’ve used zathura with success, but it doesn’t seem to be available on Rocky 8. I know on Rocky9, I was able to build it from srpms that I got from rpmfind.net, uising f34 srpms. It wasn’t that much work, though I also needed zathura-devel and (might be necessary for epubs) zathura-pdf-mupdf. Doing dnf -y buildep was able to pull in everything, if I remember correctly.
