How do I disable the screen lock?

My Rocky Linux runs as VM, so it doesn’t need a screen lock after a timeout:

How can I switch this off? (This might even involve two settings? One to keep the lock from happening and one to stop the blank screen from appearing?)

I looked through the Settings GUI and couldn’t find anything searching for “screen”, “lock” or both. (I might have “tomatoes on my eyes”…)

A way to switch this off via a terminal command would be even better.

Many thanks for any help.

Hello @halloleo

if you use gnome then the command is

gsettings set org.gnome.desktop.screensaver lock-enabled false

using the gui go to setting → privacy → screen lock then disable automatic screen lock

hope that help and have a nice day
