Gimp 3.04 RPM availability for Rocky Linux 9

Hi all.

Some team members want to try out GIMP 3.04 and it’s still not available for Rocky Linux 9. Currently we’re on Rocky 9.4 in our environment and we’re using GIMP 2.99. I can install it with flatpak, but I would prefer to do an RPM installation. I see that it’s available for Fedora, OpenSuse and Centos 9. Just curious if there’s any estimate on when that would be made available? If no one knows I’ll just go ahead with the one off of flathub.

Rocky Linux 9.4 is out of support. Please update to 9.6.

Gimp 3.0.4 will be available in Rocky Linux 9.7, which will be in November.

Thanks for the timeline. I can’t just update to 9.6 as we have 1000 hosts on Rocky Linux 9.4 and it’s a production environment. Takes time to test.
