I’m late to the party, but the rocky linux logo is so boring! 
I’ve been using this avatar for a while but it dawned on me that it could be a great addition to the branding?

Nice! I like that shade of green. I’d wear that fedora. 
I did notice the AI watermark. That has been a source of … let’s say “conversation” in the past with proposed mascots. It’s very unclear who owns that image for a number of reasons. I want to encourage more Rocky art and more ideas on Rocky mascots, but we need to make sure we aren’t crossing any ownership legal issues so we ask our artists to make the images themselves.

I’m also interested in seeing more Rocky mascot concepts, and this one has a memorable silhouette and strong color choice. The licensing concern is important, so original artwork with clear ownership would make a future design much easier to use.
