Custom Rocky ISO for Post Production

Hey everyone. I work in post production as a colorist and I use Da Vinci Resolve studio primarily on Mac. I’m currently experimenting with Rocky linux and working to get it up and running on a test system before I commit to building a linux workstation for my work. I was wondering if it is at all possible to build a custom ISO for Rocky Linux so that it is more plug and play for folks in post production, so it comes with common dependencies and tools already pre-installed. Da Vinci Resolve Studio for Linux is more for post production facilities, and I want to find collaborators to help build custom ISOs that would make it easier for solo freelancers to get up and running. I saw that the Universal Blue project has something similar with custom Fedora ISOs.

There’s a few ways you can make custom ISO’s. One common way is to use livemedia-creator, which requires the use of a kickstart. This sounds like a situation where I would make custom live images for this.

For example, all the live images we make for the project are with livemedia-creator and kickstarts. See here for examples.
