I’m using the Cockpit web console within my lan to manage the RL9 server. Recently the issue described below has occured, in last week or two.
Version: cockpit-344-1.el9.rocky.0.1.x86_64 on RL9.7
Have same issue accessing tabs on RL10.1 vm
When visiting either the Accounts or Services tab the web interface goes into a loading loop that flashes briefly the page contents and then repeats this action infinitely.
Reviewing the log journal for the time period this occurs shows the login / logout actions but nothing regarding the graphics issues.
Turn off your adblock temporarily if you have one and your problem will go away. Re-enabling it (ublock origin in my case) doesn’t bring back the issue after it has loaded successfully once.
I don’t use ad blockers, I do use noscript which I just disabled for now and I still have the issue on those two tabs. It could be something new that firefox is doing by default in their latest version. I’ll do some more testing and see what I come up with.
I would perhaps also try an incognito tab as well just in case. I use Graylog, but in Brave Browser it won’t load the page correctly at all in a normal tab, but in private/incognito tab it works fine. Google Chrome on the other hand will load Graylog without any issues in a normal tab.
Potentially some Firefox setting could be the cause, and that a private/incognito tab might help rule that out.
