Update Rocky Linux-kde-v10 (dnf upgrade -y) error

Dear Rockers,

Thank you for all the assistance - today i tried to run some updates/upgrades:

  1. Discovery on rocky linux v10 had some kde updates on GUI, which updated & cleared (after reboot)…
  2. I also wanted to run dnf upgrade -y or update -y ; but i get these long errors, any idea please? (only pasted a few lines below). I did run dnf clean all, which seems to help but then the errors emerges after it checks for upgrades/updates both options. :slightly_smiling_face:
  3. Which option at the very end clears all unnecessary or superfluous updates please?

  • (try to add ‘–allowerasing’ to command line to replace conflicting packages or ‘–skip-broken’ to skip uninstallable packages or ‘–nobest’ to use not only best candidate packages)

You think it is best to wait or edit mirrors please?

Not even sure of the location on rocky to edit the mirrors & which URLs to use - please help @iWalker ? /etc/?

If you don’t mind waiting for updates, then best to wait. If you change the repo files, you then have to remember what you changed. It’s only a week or so, so it’s not critical.
