When I get to the login screen after booting up my PC, I enter my password and press enter and the screen freezes, why? Please let me know if you know how to fix it…

This is not enough information to guess as to what the issue could be. Can you provide any logs? (For example by changing to a different virtual terminal or ssh’ing in to get a dmesg)

This is the dmesg you requested. Please confirm.

I don’t see any indications of a problem there. Maybe try checking the systemd journal? I’d also try to see if there’s a difference between attempting to start a wayland session or an x11 session.

Do not just post an entire log. Look for snippets you think are relevant. Attempt some troubleshooting steps on your own, and list what you’ve tried / what you’ve searched for. If you want people to help you, you have to show that you’re putting some effort into trying to solve it yourself, too.

Okay, I’ll try to analyze the issue you’re experiencing, and I’ll be sure to post when I’m stuck or have questions. Thank you.
