Just in a test setup between 3 virtual machines I want to setup NIS for authentication, but there doesn’t seem to be a package for it in Rocky 9 (or I’ve been unable to find it!).
Can anyone offer any pointers as to where I can get it from?
The packages originally were originally called ypserv, yp-tools, ypbind, nss_nis. These packages were removed entirely in Enterprise Linux 9 as they are not considered secure. There is no direct replacement.
