It’s wild to me how Rocky 10 is already underway. I’ve seen a lot of r10s in the Git, do the developers know if this will be based on Stream or not? It says 10.0, so probably not.
We have had Rocky Linux 10 being built since January of this year. What you are looking at is our “LookAhead” variant, which is meant to be based on CentOS Stream 10. Later in 2025, it will be branched off to stable 10.0. Stream 10 (and thus 10 LookAhead) will then be building 10.1 after that.
Note: None of those repositories should be considered stable. An installation will not work from the boot.iso.
I found out about the stg repos after looking through the kickstarts on GitHub. I manually specified the stg repo in the installer, it seems to be installing, but there is a package conflict with any GUI option. Not suprised, given that there is little to no QA for this right now.
Update, I got it to boot, and it’s codename is “Red Quartz”.
