Not sure what you meant by “active support” but Rocky 9’s EOL should be 2032.
Each RHEL major release has “active support phase” and “maintenance phase”.
Critical security and bug fixes are released in both phases.
During active support new features get also added in “point updates”, which happen biannually.
IMHO, an old server does not need new features. To do its job should be enough.
For that, critical fixes is enough. Rocky 9 has that support to 2032.
