So updating my OS drive to a SSD didn’t go so well. I was cloning my rotational drive with Clonezilla and about 43% of the way through it gave an error and the rotational drive was making the spinning up/down clicking head crash sound of death! I re-installed Rocky 8.8 and spent most of the day getting it all setup and reconfigured. Had to setup my Samba Shares, DHCP, DNS, my Luks Encryption, my Apache for my web site and get the certificate all working again. Luckily my Software RAID survived with all my data, but I had a backup. I finally got it. I have a second SSD coming from Amazon. I will clone it this time, so I won’t have to go through that again. Here I am stressing it all out and making sure its working.
