OBS Studio crashes when trying to open Settings menu

I just installed OBS Studio to make a screen recording.

When I try to open the Settings menu from either the main menu or the Controls menu, the program exits with this error:

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::logic_error'
  what():  basic_string::_M_construct null not valid
Aborted (core dumped)

Any ideas?

OBS is configured for screen recording and not for streaming.

A google seems to show things like this: Accessing settings is no longer possible · Issue #9158 · obsproject/obs-studio · GitHub meaning the packager (whoever built the rpms) needs to resolve it.

Where did you install OBS Studio from? If EPEL, then you need to ask them to fix it.

My faux pas. Should have done a search prior to posting.

I installed from epel, so I will check there.

Thank you.
