No input possible in Rocky Linux 9.6 VNC installer

Hi,

I often use the included VNC installer to install Rocky Linux on routerboards with a serial connection or to make screenshots during the installation. I’ve done this many times, but only with Rocky Linux 8.x so far.

Usually it boils down to add the inst.vnc inst.vncpassword=vncpass options on boot and then connect to the machine over the local network with a VNC client (KRDC in my case).

This has worked perfectly with Rocky Linux 8.x, but it looks like the VNC server on 9.x has a bug. When I type in the password, I see my installer language selection window OK, but clicking on the Continue button with my mouse yields no result.

Any idea what’s happening here ? Is that a known bug ? Or does someone know a workaround to this showstopper ?
