Installing 8.5 from USB and failing

I am trying to install Rocky 8.5 on an Intel Nuc 7 with an i3 processor. I see the following errors in the failed install log:

localhost kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\PR.PR00._CPC], (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psargs-330)
localhost kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting Method \PR.PR01._CPC due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psparses-5301)
localhost kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\PR.PR00._CPC], (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psargs-330)
localhost kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting Method \PR.PR01._CPC due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psparses-5301)
localhost kernel: ACPI BIOS Error (bug): Could not resolve symbol [\PR.PR00._CPC], (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psargs-330)
localhost kernel: ACPI Error: Aborting Method \PR.PR01._CPC due to previous error (AE_NOT_FOUND) (20210105/psparses-5301)

It continues on with non error logs for a while and then it spits out a ton of these:

localhost dracut-initqueue[1050]: Warning: Dracut-initqueue timeout - starting boot scripts

followed by a:

localhost dracut-initqueue[1050]: Warning: Could not boot.

I had ESXI 6.7 on this system before and then Mint linux. Wanted to use it for another purpose and wanted a CentOS experience.

Suggestions?

I a very similar error on a NUC clone (Beelink/Trigkey) with a Celeron processor.
I’m unable to install Rocky 8 or 9. I managed however to install CentOS 7 without a hitch, but not CentOS 8 Stream.

My error with Rocky 9.1 minimal install reads:

ACPI BIOS Error (bug): could not resolve symbol [_SB.PC00.TXHC.RHUB.SS01], AE_NOT_FOUND (20211217/dswload2-162)
ACPI Error: AE_NOT_FOUND, During name lookup/catalog (20211217/psobject-220)

I get all the following boot messages and finally Finished: “Terminate Plymouth Boot Screen” then it just hangs on a dead screen.

Did you get to the bottom of the issue? Something to do with the chip sets on these mini PCs? Can it me updated? I know next to nothing of BIOS etc…
