I downloaded the Rocky Linux ISO Rocky-8.10-x86_64-dvd1.iso
and checked it against the sha256 checksum.
With VirtualBox I created now a VM with this ISO and when I run it I get:
Any idea where the problem could lay?
Many thanks for any pointers!

Appears to be a VirtualBox problem, many people reporting the same. Shut down the vm and check the storage settings.
What is the “unattended” image that’s sitting there? Is this a modified version of our ISO?
I don’t really have an idea. The filed path is:
Maybe something went wrong when I configured it. I will try again.
I’ve never used VirtualBox, but it’s something like; you have to delete the unattended thing (and optical drive), then re-add the optical drive, and then select the iso again.
