Hi everyone, i have several of CentOS 7 with LUKS encrypted partitions and i tried to migrate to Rocky 8 even with migrate2rocky.sh and leapp utility but can’t complete the upgrade in both cases. Can anyone help me to know if this is possible or not. Thanks a lot.
Upgrades are not supported.
Do you mean migrate2rocky.sh? If so, that script is specifically for converting another Enterprise Linux 8 system into Rocky Linux 8. Same goes for migrate2rocky9.sh.
You are recommended to install a new Rocky Linux 8 system and migrate your data that way.
