Attaching a GPU to a VM using KVM freezes the host

Hi all
I have a rocky linux 8 Server, the integrated GPU serve the Video Output.

I installed a GPU NVidia 1080 on one of the slot and I would like to attach it to a Virtual Machine.
The problem is that if I attach the GPU to a VM using the “add pci host device” the host freezes

Do you have any suggestion?
