So I just took the jump to Rocky! nVidia drivers installed just fine - 525.60.11 off of their website.
For those that want to download right from the website and not use EPEL, etc…
First be sure SSH is enabled and root can login or a user with SUDO can.
Followed this and added the EPEL repo, nVidia CUDA repo. the the DEVEL/Kernel headers (I did NOT actually install the CUDA driver though, it complained about the version needed and I don’t really need it, so… )
Then I followed jlehtone’s post here and blacklisted nouveau and added the section for the X11 configuration (/etc/X11/xorg.conf.d/nvidia.conf)
Rebooted, then installed the nVidia driver via SSH. Display came right up after install without a reboot.
Just a FYI if anyone else wants to use the driver right from the website.
