What is the EL equivalent to xiccd? What provides the bridge between colord and X in the EL world for XFCE? (No such problem with default GNOME).
Default workstation+xfce install of RL 9.5, updated as of yesterday. Systemctl reports colord running without complaint. Colormgr “get-profiles” lists profiles in /usr/share/color/icc/colord (ie those provided by the colord rpm itself) as expected, but “get-devices” lists nothing (zero retcode). The color profiles gui also lists no devices, as you’d expect if colormgr also doesn’t. The first hundred or so online returns are all for debian derivatives, thus xiccd for the bridge, which doesn’t appear to exist here (‘dnf search all xiccd’ returns nothing from appstream, baseos, crb, epel, extras, and rpmfusion[free,nonfree]). I’ve clearly missed installing or setting up something to support colord, but what?
