X doesn't start, black screen after logging on through GDM

Hi,
I installed Rocky 9 from minimal, but need a graphical interface. I’ve installed gnome using

 dnf group install "Workstation"
 systemctl set-default graphical

As I’m mainly going to use this system for machine learning, I’d already installed the nvidia drivers, and everything was good with nvidia-smi. The system has two quadro cards in. The display starts fine, I log in using the gdm screen, and then I lose keyboard, monitor, everything.

Xorg.0.log is at the bottom of this message. GDM is still running. Eventually the system comes back to the Rocky login screen. The gdm status is as follows

> [root@athos ~]# systemctl status gdm.service
> ● gdm.service - GNOME Display Manager
> Loaded: loaded (/usr/lib/systemd/system/gdm.service; enabled; vendor preset: enabled)

I really have no idea how to fix this, but I need a graphical interface. I think it’s trying to use the graphics card not connected to a monitor gpu1, as the primarygpu.

Thanks
