The release of Rocky, along with the need to change VPS hosting, is making me dive into the various virtualization possibilities. I’m wondering about a few things.
Would a template for, say, OpenVZ be created by Rocky, Virtuozzo, or a 3rd party? Is work on this underway? Would politicking help to make this happen?
Or could one just install whatever version of CentOS is available, and run the Rocky upgrade script?
I know that with other, more low-level types of virtualization, installing from .iso is possible. Anyway, whatever info and advice that is provided will be appreciated.
