Hello,
I have a very strange boot issue on Rocky Linux 8 (upgraded from Centos 7 to Centos 8 and converted to Rocky Linux 8, don’t blame me, it’s work perfectly on other servers).
When I boot, I can see a red welcome message (on my other upgraded servers, it’s green and it’s don’t talk about dracut and git) :
Welcome to Rocky Linux 8.6 (Green Obsidian) dracut-049-209.git20220815.el8 (Initramfs) !
And the boot process stop on this and never reached the timeout :
A start job is running for dev-disk#0553e.device
A second strange things, is if I boot in rescue mode from grub, the server boot in normal mode !!!
Any idea ?
