Updates broke my system

I updated my machine a couple of days ago. Now the machine boots to a blank screen. I can’t switch terminal windows or anything. I tried to “dnf history rollback”, but I get Cannot find rpm nevra . I try to “dnf update” but I get Problem ##: cannot install the best update candidate for package . I’ve tried the “–allowerasing”, “–skip-broken”, “–nobest”, and even “–best” to the syntax, but still get similar errors.

I’ve exhausted all options. I’m not sure what’s left to try to solve this. I am using Rocky v9.2.

Thanks

So it appears you can access your system in single or multiuser mode. Did you try rebuilding grub?

grub2-mkconfig -o /boot/grub2/grub.cfg

I can access the machine when I boot single user.

I have not tried to rebuild grub. I’ll give it a try and report back

Thank you
