could someone tell me the server name for ntp server for rocky to add it chronyc

@JustSomeone I don’t think there is an official ntp server for Rocky. (I could be wrong, but I’ve never heard one mentioned). You might want to take a look here and choose a couple of servers close to you: pool.ntp.org: the internet cluster of ntp servers

around 3 days ago i need to install rocky and for some reason during the installation i get note at the end of the screen where we choose the location that the ntp is not reachable (i think i saw word rocky on that server )so i continue the installation and after system start i find the source is not register to the chronyc
and thanks a lot for the link will use one of them till i find the old one

The default NTP pool provided by our chrony package should be sufficient (2.rocky.pool.ntp.org)
If it’s not reachable, you will need to address it from your network.

now i got the issue it cause i have very old router that has issue getting the ip of domain that has multi subdomain of more than 2 so if link was something.anotherthing.tld it’s fine but more than 2 it fail to get the ip from the dns so first.second.third.tld will always fail
