Rocky Linux 10.2 can't login to kde from gdm

Hi I am Rupesh from India and I have installed Rocky Linux 10.2 along with gnome and kde plasma desktop environments. I thought everything would be fine but not.

At first I have downloaded Rocky Linux 10.2 minimal iso file and created USB installation image. After that I have installed successfully corr os. After that I have installed gnome through the following command

sudo dnf groupinstall “workstation”

After that I have successfully entered into gnome through gdm and after that I have added epel repo, rpm fusion repositories. After that that I have installed kde plasma desktop environment through the following command

sudo dnf groupinstall “kde plasma workspaces”

Upto now everything worked fine I mean I was able to get into kde plasma desktop environment through gdm.

After that I have downloaded amdgpu-install file from amd website and installed it and after that I have installed gpu driver and rocm through the following command

sudo amdgpu-install install usecase=graphics, opencl

At present I can’t enter into kde plasma desktop environment through gdm. After entering username and password I have tried to select kde plasma desktop from gdm options but failed to select.

In tty login screen I have tried to enter kde plasma desktop environment and succeeded through the following command

start-plasma-wayanad

Another interesting point is there are no files present in /usr/share/xsessions.

Kindly try to suggest how to enter kde plasma desktop environment.

Another feedback related to iso installation image is please do not use Rocky Linux 10.2 boot.iso because it has failed to fetch repository meta data. If you can’t believe me try to download and install from this boot.iso through usb.

Regards,
Rupesh.

Please try to respond.
