We are aware a current issue with MirrorManager. These stem from today’s IPA maintenance.
While MirrorManager is down, requests for mirror lists (as performed by DNF) will return our fallback Fastly CDN powered mirror, https://dl.rockylinux.org instead of the normal list of geographically close mirrors.
Remediation is ongoing. We will follow up with a root cause analysis and steps we’ve taken to prevent this hiccup from reoccurring in the future.
