today after updating the kernel to 4.18.0-372.16.1.el8_6.x86_64 it show up on the boot menu as 8.5
is that only me ?

Is this specific to Rocky, does not affect RHEL / Alma?
It’s specific to Rocky and how our secure builders are configured at the moment. We’ll be pushing out a fix later in the weekend once our mirrors have caught up with our 9 release. Apologies for the oddity.
