HP zbook wifi not working after upgrade 10.1 to 10.2

Hello all,

I was not successful in my attempt to reformat /efi and reinstall the contents of the copy. I did a reinstall of Rocky 1.2 and used the existing partitions and reformatted all except /home. upon the completion of the reinstallation and reinstallation of KDE and the other programs I use I checked the wifi connectivity. It works flawlessly! I am assuming that the reinstallation plus update installed the new HP firmware. My problem is fixed

Since 1.1.1.1 pings but google.com doesn’t, that’s a DNS resolution issue, not a connectivity issue — check /etc/resolv.conf and nmcli dev show for the DNS servers on each interface. The fact that it only works on 2.4GHz suggests that connection profile has a working DNS entry (possibly via DHCP) while your Ethernet/5GHz profiles are missing or using a broken DNS server.
