Expanding Rocky 9.4 partition volume after dual-booting with Windows

Hi there, I’m very new to Rocky 9.3 but having a great time migrating over to it.

I am dual-booting Rocky 9.4 alongside Windows 11. I created a 75GB partition on Windows to ‘test out’ Rocky but now that I am interesting in fully moving to it I was wondering how I would go about increasing the partition volume to 500GB - would I do this in Windows?

Furthermore, if I installed a new 2GB SSD what are my options for migrating this installation to that SSD? Or should I keep the installation as is and slot in a new 2TB SSD into the computer and have that be visible to Rocky Linux?

Thanks a lot!

If the 75Gb partition is at the end of the disk and there’s lots of free space after it, you might be able to extend it, but probably better to use a separate physical disk for Rocky, keep it completely separate to Windows, e.g. dual booting using the “BIOS”.
