In an effort to work around the RL9.2 bug “soft lockup cpu stuck” I am trying to boot into grub and use an older kernel.
But I am having trouble booting into grub. What little documentation I found said to hold down the shift key while booting. But the system boots normally while holding down the shift key with no option to enter grub.
So how do I enter grub on boot?
RL is running bare metal on an old Dell Precision server.
