Best way to install gcc-13 on Rocky 9

Hi everyone,

I want to use the gcc-13 on my x86_64 platform but it’s not in upstream.
What is the best way to do it? Is there a better way to install gcc-13 other than from scratch?

I also see
gcc-toolset-13-binutils in staging repository in rocky gitlab. Is there a way to compile gcc-13 from it? Or is there a way to add artifactories from it to my upstream?

Thanks!

EL 8.8 and 9.2 have gcc-toolset-12
CentOS Stream already has gcc-toolset-13
So have to wait for EL 8.9 and 9.3

According to Red Hat Enterprise Linux Application Streams Life Cycle - Red Hat Customer Portal Red Hat has released once, in Feb 2020, two streams for “8.1.1”. All other stream releases have been at point update releases.

The “stability” of RHEL (and closely related distros) assumes that one does use what the distro has to offer. Most of the time that is not the bleeding edge toys at day one (although, the openssl-3.0 was very new in el9_0).
