When cross referencing the AMI ID (eg ami-0aa1786a50c788578) on Cloud Images | Rocky Linux against the catalogue in AWS, the AMI’s show as community images without any tangible reference to them being official Rocky images. In addition the AMI’s in the AWS catalogue that are marked as official don’t seem to appear on the Rocky Linux cloud images page. The owner ID for the official images also isn’t published on the cloud images page. I need to ensure that the AMI’s that I’m selecting in AWS are the official ones, but it’s very difficult to qualify when looking at the AWS interface that it’s actually the case.
