the actuel postfix available package is postfix-2:3.5.8-2.el8.x86_64.
As of Feb, 7th this version is considered as vulnerable.

Could you please provide 3.5.15 or 3.6.5 versions.

Hello @olivier

it’s already version 3.5.8 check this one postfix-3.5.8-2.el8.x86_64.rpm Rocky Linux 8 Download

try to update your system

Yes it’s 3.5.8 and I request 3.5.15 or 3.6.5
because of new vulnerabilities in previous versions

Rocky follows RHEL8, so if RHEL8 release it, then it will be in Rocky. Rocky will only have the package versions that RHEL8 has. Until then, you have to wait for RHEL8 to make updates to the version of postfix and patch bugs/security issues and then it will appear in Rocky.

Red Hat usually does not change the major package version , instead they backport the fixing or features etc. You may check what has been updated in package so for. like

rpm -q --changelog postfix | more

  • Fixed cleanup crash when processing messages with whitespace only fullname
    Resolves: rhbz#1977732
  • New version
    Resolves: rhbz#1688389
  • Fixed DNS resolver to use ref_search instead of ref_query
    Resolves: rhbz#1723950

ops my bad looks like i was a sleep while read your post
