Looking for an outlook alternative mail client

I really, really want to ditch ms and use a Linux desktop. I chose Rocky 9.5 with KDE. Prior to switching to Rocky, I did a lot of research to find Linux alternatives for my ms applications. For the most part, I found alternatives that will work in Linux, but not everything.

The one item that I need to replace is MS Outlook. I use a hosted Exchange and MS Outlook. When I was testing out different Linux distro’s and desktops, I tried Thunderbird with the OWL add-on. It connected to exchange and that was what I wanted, but apparently I didn’t do my diligence in my testing. Now that I pulled that trigger and built my desktop, I realize that OWL doesn’t give me full exchange. There are many items that are not synced and one very important item that is not fully synced are my contacts.

Contacts sync, but not all contact data. I get the names, but not the details, e.g. phone numbers, contact info, addresses etc…

I’ve looked at other alternatives, Evolution, Mailspring, kmail, kontact, others. None of them would connect to exchange.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks

I believe you need to install:

dnf install evolution-ews

you will then connect to Exchange. From this page: Configure Exchange Online with the Evolution email client on Linux - IUKB

Whilst the instructions are for that specifc EDU - you can use the steps in the instructions to configure Evolution to access your Office 365 or whatever changing the server parameters etc where appropriate.

Thank you. Looked promising, but just not connecting to my exchange.

Thanks for the suggestion.
