Installing Kodi on Rocky

Oiy people! Has anybody already installed Kodi on Rocky? If so, how?

Hi,

Easiest way is probably via flatpak:

https://flathub.org/apps/details/tv.kodi.Kodi

If you’re running gnome, flatpak should just need enabling:

https://flatpak.org/setup/CentOS/

Hi,

FWIW - I can confirm that the flathub version of Kodi (19.3.0) works like a charm, which in my case means that it also comes with a working TVHeadend PVR Client. I’ll however need to look further into it, especially regarding networking support for media sources which sometimes appears to be a bit tricky.
