The Infrastructure Team will be performing several interdependent maintenance items on our ORD1 data center which serves as the origin for most Rocky Linux/RESF Services. Namely, we will be diverting all download.rockylinux.org traffic over to a dedicated load balancer, alleviating load on our shared services load balancer, and ultimately bringing resolution to the intermittent infrastructure instability we have experienced the past couple of months.
You can expect intermittent unavailability of all services from 2023-10-11T04:00:00Z→2023-10-11T05:30:00Z
We encourage our users to use these IRC channels on Libera.Chat during this downtime. Status updates will be posted in this thread and #rockylinux on Libera.Chat .
