I noticed neofetch was showing a generic penguin ascii art so here is our own.
Hope you like it!
-
Install jp2a
$ sudo yum -y install https://tchung.org/jp2a/files/jp2a-1.0.8-1.el8.x86_64.rpm
-
Convert jpg to ascii with jp2a
$ jp2a --size=30x15 --background=light rockylinux.jpg --output=rocky.txt
-
Run neofetch with new rockylinux ascii
$ neofetch --ascii rocky.txt
I just learned neofetch project updated their code to support Rocky!
I could not find updated rpm pkg from epel so here is a quick way to update the script
$ curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dylanaraps/neofetch/master/neofetch | grep -o Rocky
Rocky
$ sudo curl -s https://raw.githubusercontent.com/dylanaraps/neofetch/master/neofetch -o /usr/bin/neofetch
$ neofetch --disable title
