Error: Failed to download metadata for repo

Issues:

[root@rocky yum.repos.d]# yum update
Updating Subscription Management repositories.

  - Status code: 500 for https://smart-proxy.domain.com/pulp/repos/managment/RockyLinux9_latest/custom/RockyLinux9_latest/RockyLinux9_latest_CRB/repodata/repomd.xml (IP: xx.xx.xxx.xx)
Error: Failed to download metadata for repo 'RockyLinux9_latest_RockyLinux9_latest_CRB': Cannot download repomd.xml: Cannot download repodata/repomd.xml: All mirrors were tried

Getting this error while running yum/dnf update

Noticed that , if /etc/rhsm/rhsm.conf is having https in baseurl then we are seeing this error, I we make it http then this error is not coming.

Can anyone help, how to resolve this while using https

Note. We have foreman and rockyLinux9 repos are published. Servers are register as expected with foreman and we are able to see all the required repos using subscription-manager repos
