Cups 2.3.3op2 on rocky 9 with a macos client

Hi,

Anyone come across a cups 2.3.3op2 cups server printing a black page when the same config on the cups server 1.6.3 and client prints fine? same ppd verbatim and cupsd.conf , same client config too ? All packages are installed the same too such as filters and foomatic et al.

I’m completely stumped, it’s like the newer version is interpretting something in a different way and so requires an additional config the old cups didnt.
