I have been trying to deploy an ECS with public Rocky 9 image from Huawei Cloud using Packer. I have tried using custom keypair, ED25519 and automatically generated keypair in Huawei Cloud, RSA, but can’t seem to be able to SSH into the instance. The default username for password log in for ECS in Huawei is root and i tried using that, along with rocky, linux but to no avail. Anyone have encountered this or any insights will be really helpful.
