Error:
Problem: cannot install the best update candidate for package sudo-python-plugin-1.9.15-8.p5.el10.x86_64
nothing provides sudo = 1.9.15-8.p5.el10_0.2 needed by sudo-python-plugin-1.9.15-8.p5.el10_0.2.x86_64 from appstream
(try to add ‘–skip-broken’ to skip uninstallable packages or ‘–nobest’ to use not only best candidate packages)
First it would be better to clear dnf data and then try with fresh mirror data:
dnf clean all
dnf update
Since the package has only been released it’s more likely due to the fact that mirrors haven’t had change to sync fully. It’s generally NOT recommended to use --skip-broken or --nobest and only if you know what you are doing or as a last resort due to the problems they can cause.
Majority of problems when a package is not found, is due to mirrorsync issues.
